Aims & Scope

SCOPE OF PUBLICATION

Journal of Applied Artificial Intelligence Research (JAAIR) is a flagship journal of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) dedicated to advancing the knowledge and application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) across multidisciplinary fields. The journal provides a platform for academics, researchers, and industry practitioners to publish their high-quality, peer-reviewed research papers that contribute to the theory, development, and implementation of AI technologies and their societal impacts.

JAAIR is published online with a frequency of two issues per year (June and December). Special issues may also be published from time to time to highlight emerging topics and innovations in AI research.

Focus and Scope

The Journal of Applied Artificial Intelligence Research (JAAIR) welcomes original and high-impact research articles, review papers, and critical surveys related to Artificial Intelligence and its applications. The journal covers, but is not limited to, the following areas:

Language of Publication

JAAIR publishes manuscripts in both English and Bahasa Melayu. English serves as the primary medium for international communication, while Bahasa Melayu is also accepted to promote knowledge dissemination among local researchers and to uphold the national language as a language of science and scholarship.
